📜 The Rules of the Dead
"Death smiles at us all, but all a man can do is smile back... and place a bet."
1. The Objective
Draft a team of 10 Celebrities who you believe will pass away within the current calendar year. The goal is to amass the most points before the ball drops on New Year's Eve.
2. The Scoring System
Points are awarded based on the celebrity's age at the time of death.
The younger they are, the more points you get.
Score = 100 - Age
Examples:
- If a 90-year-old dies, you get 10 Points.
- If a 50-year-old dies, you get 50 Points.
- If a 25-year-old dies, you get 75 Points.
*Minimum score is always 1 point, even for centenarians.*
3. Drafting Guidelines
- Humans Only: No fictional characters, animals, or inorganic entities.
- Must be Famous: If they aren't on Wikipedia, you must add them via "Manual Entry".
- No "Active Kill" Participation: You cannot contribute to the death of your picks. That is a felony, not a game.
4. The Reaper
This system runs a Reaper Bot that scans global news sources (Wikidata) daily.
When a death is confirmed, points are awarded automatically.
Note: If the Reaper is slow, the Commissioner can manually award points.
